JEE (Main) Application 2023

In order to take JEE(Main) 2023 candidates must fill out an application form and submit it after uploading the requisite documents and paying fees. Candidates must complete separate application forms for January (Session 1) and April (Session 2) if they intend to write the exam in both sessions.
Candidates who complete the form and submit it with no errors after paying the fees are issued an admit card and are allowed to sit the computer-based exam. As a result, applicants should stay up to speed on the latest examination news, such as significant dates. The following are some key features for the JEE (Main) 2023.

Application Fee/Paper

The NTA has a varied fee structure for applicants from India and those from other countries. The per session fees for both territories for the various categories are shown below.>/div>

Application Process

The online registration for the JEE (Main) 2023 is mainly a 6 step procedure:
  1. Visit the Official JEE (Main) official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.
  2. Click on the ‘JEE (Main) 2023 registration.
  3. Create ‘New Registration’ with your name, mobile number and email address.
  4. Fill out the registration form completely, including your personal and educational information.
  5. Upload the scanned images and required documents
  6. Pay the application fee
  7. Print the NTA confirmation page for future reference.
The confirmation page/PDF will be emailed to the candidate's email address. Save the confirmation for future reference.

Required Documents

Because the correcting procedure might be time-consuming, applicants must upload the right documents within the size limit. The following are the required documents:
  • Scanned images of the candidate's photograph (in JPEG format, 10 kb to 200 kb) and signature (4 kb to 30 kb).
  • Category certificates (if the candidate belongs to a reserved category).
  • Photo ID proof: Aadhar Card, Bank Passbook, Ration Card copy, Passport etc.
  • Qualification Proof: Class 10th certificate, Class 12th certificate.
  • For Payment: Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.

JEE (Main) Application Correction

Candidates can make corrections to their JEE (Main) 2023 application form in the online window opened by the NTA on its official website. Though it should be noted, that only certain fields can be edited, therefore candidates should be vigilant while filling out their application form.
How to make Corrections?
  • The applicant must log in to the NTA's official portal using the login credentials that were generated during the New Registration process.
  • After the fee was paid, identical credentials would have been given to their respective email addresses.
  • After logging in, the applicant will edit the relevant information before submitting it.
  • The applicant should submit the accurate information because they will not be able to change it afterwards.

Check JEE (Main) Application Status

After submitting their application, candidates may quickly check the status of their JEE (Main) 2023 application by signing in to their account on the NTA's website. The status will be displayed on the screen after entering the email ID and password.
